Southern California Homebrewers Festival – Vail Lake Update
The 2015 Southern California Homebrewers Festival is coming back to Vail Lake! With the resort under new management, they are welcoming us back with open arms.
Participating clubs made their campground reservations yesterday and if you are a member of the California Homebrewers Association, you can now call in to reserve your campsite for the 2015 festival. CHA members must identify themselves as member to be eligible for the $55/night discount. The discount applies to all Vail Lake sites for Friday and Saturday nights, May 1 and 2, 2015!
We currently have 33 clubs signed up to pour and are expecting more. You’ll learn about homebrewing from the brewers themselves-what styles should taste like and how to brew them. We’ll also have speakers and music-a great weekend for homebrewers!
Don’t forget our new membership structure-required due to the change in the law governing homebrewing. In order to attend any CHA event, you must be a CHA member. Go to https://www.calhomebrewers.org to join. Joining now gives you a couple of extra months of discounts at homebrew shops and craft breweries. 2015 CHA memberships can be purchased now and will be valid through December 31, 2015.
