Our Mission Statement

PROMOTE HOMEBREWING, EDUCATE THE PUBLIC,
BRING HOMEBREWERS TOGETHER TO INCREASE KNOWLEDGE AND FELLOWSHIP

The California Homebrewers Association (CHA) is a 501(c)3 Not-For-Profit organization. The CHA sponsors seminars and events that are educational, informative and designed to provide an atmosphere of fellowship and time for discussion. Individuals interested in beer and beer making have the opportunity to taste and discuss all aspects of the process, including food pairing and brewing, and can become members of the CHA. Some contributions to CHA may be tax-deductible. Those wishing to contribute or become a member please complete the membership application. Membership in the CHA carries certain responsibilities. The CHA intends to provide a fun, educational and safe atmosphere for its members during its sponsored events. This responsibility also falls upon each individual member. Since alcoholic beverages are a main ingredient at CHA events, consumption in a responsible manner is mandatory for all members who choose to consume alcoholic beverages at CHA events.
